Data locations and where the code page is set:

  1. Source server. (source server code page)
  2. Source client. (source client code page)
  3. Source connector. (code page defined in the Workflow Manager source)
  4. Tansformation. (Integration Service Node CodePage and set in Administration Console, )
    1. The code page for each PowerCenter Integration Service process node must be a subset of the repository code page.
  5. Oparating System Code Page. Must be equal to Integration Service CodePage)
    1. Power Center uses operating systems commands like rmail, sendmail. Those commands treat data as in operating system code page.
  6. Target connector. (code page defined in the Workflow Manager source)
  7. Target client. (target client code page)
